Hello THAGS members, now is the time to mark you calendars and start making plans for our fall meetings and events. Please take note of the dates and locations below.
THIS IS OUR NEW MEETING PLACE! The Philip Cezeaux Building in the heart of Humble, Texas. The address is 100 N. Houston Avenue.
It is right next to the city park seen in the second photo. As you can see there is plenty of parking. The building can hold 200 people, so we have room to grow.
We look forward to being with all of you again at our first meeting of our year on Monday, September 10, 2018, at 7 PM. Our speaker will be Lisa Toth-Salinas. Her topic is: "All I Ever Wanted to Know About Genealogy I Learned in Kindergarten: A Back-to-Basics Look at the Genealogical Research Process." Be sure to join us and plan to bring a friend.
Yearly dues are due and can be paid at this meeting. Or you can mail them in by check, payable to THAGS and sent to PO Box 2723, Humble, Texas 77347-2723. Dues are $17 single, $20 Family, $50 Sponsor, $100 Patron, $200 Benefactor, $500 Life. All dues must be paid by November 30, 2018.
