GENEALOGICAL CITATIONS

Would you like some tips on writing citations for the images you are saving, your research notes, or a piece of genealogical writing you are doing? You might enjoy this video recording from our recent Writer's Circle group. The video and handout can also be found in the member's section of our website under "Most recent and Coming Presentations."

Note: The sound is not the absolutely best quality. I will try a different microphone on the next one.

IT'S AN ELECTION YEAR...

Well, pretty much every year at THAGS is an election year, and 2024 is no exception. THAGS relies on member volunteers to keep the organization alive.

Our election process begins with the formation on a nominating committee. In the member's section of the website, in the "Current Membership Directory" p 7, it reads:

"In March, the Board will appoint a nominating committee of up to three members to develop a new slate of officers. Acceptance of the slate for the new officers, presented by the committee at the April meeting, shall be by voice vote unless nominations are made from the floor. . . Installation of the new officers shall take place at the May general meeting.

If you are interested in being on the nominating committee, please contact us at humbleareagen@gmail.com
